Once again, a wild-eyed, climate change religionist has revealed herself to be a major hypocrite. This time it is the leftist Gov. of Oregon, Tina Koteck, who has claimed to stand against natural gas, but who also just ordered a $300,000, taxpayer-funded natural gas generator in the governor’s mansion.

Kotek’s campaign website listed her priorities this way: “Transition away from the use of fossil fuels like methane gas in homes and commercial buildings.” The site adds, “Tina put Oregon on a path to 100% clean electricity by 2040.”

And yet… per the Post Millennial:

According to the official bid, “The project includes updating the utility service with backup emergency dual natural gas and propane. Adds a full building services generator to the facility for power, should normal utility power fail.”

The City of Salem permit describes the project as “Adding piping from existing NG (natural gas) Utilities to new generator.”

The project also includes adding a 500-gallon propane tank and a new outdoor concrete pad which will be covered with a new pergola structure.

Is there in truth no Democrat who is not a liar, huckster, panderer, and hypocrite?

So, how does she explain this? So far, she hasn’t. But I am guessing it will go something like was we continue seeing other Democrats who say that they are far more important than you and so they are entitled to break their own rules. They aren’t held to the rules like the rest of us, after all.
