A biological male has won the Miss Greater Derry Scholarship Pageant, a contest that is a preliminary event leading to the Miss New Hampshire and Miss America series of pageants.

Brían Nguyen, a transgender student at Nashua Community College, won the beauty contest on Sunday in New Hampshire, according to the Post Millennial.

The pageant, founded in 1986, claims to “provide scholarships to young women between the ages of 17 and 24 living in the Greater Derry area recognizing their outstanding achievements in scholastic aptitude, talent, character, community service and poise.”

The morbidly obese pageant winner celebrated the win on a Mov. 8 Instagram post, saying, “In the 100 year history of Miss America, I have officially become the FIRST transgender titleholder within the Miss America Organization.”

“No words can describe the feeling of having the opportunity to serve my community and represent my community for the very first time at Miss New Hampshire. I am so honored to be crowned your new Miss Greater Derry 2023, and I am thrilled to show you all what I have up my sleeves. This will be an amazing year,” Nguyen added.

The win in New Hampshire comes on the heels of a court ruling that determined that the Miss U.S.A. pageant can legally exclude men claiming to be transgender females from competition.

This is a slap in the face to all real women.

And imagine if a morbidly obese, natural-born woman tried to enter a beauty pageant. She would be utterly laughed out of the hall!
